i'm not sticking up for dumb cops but that is a stupid comment. what the iq of criminals?.. anyway iq isn't the only measure of intelligence. iq test are academic test and if you study the curriculum you get a high score but it doesn't mean your intelligent. a person with high iq can have bad memory and bad aptitude among other things that are needed to use real intelligence. some people with high iq scores can not do anything with their knowledge other than check the right check box.

"The average score nationally for police officers is 21 to 22, the equivalent of an IQ of 104, or just a little above average." No, actually, 104 is pretty sad. Above average? Just barely. 70 or below is mental retardation. Average is 90-100. I think I've read W's IQ is 92.

Hah - that's what I've always said. Cops were the bullies in school, and so they get a job where they get to continue to bully and beat people up.

I lived in PG county in the late '60s & early '70 and they were a bunch of red-neck brutes then. Looks like nothing's changed

lol funny how they sent 9 cars after them, and not a single one had a working camera. If their federally required, doesnt that mean they committed a federal offence? Note to all reporters: carry a gun

Psychopathic behavior is becoming far too common among police, especially those who are closet drunks and/or drug dependent. Studies show that up to 40% of police families suffer both emotional and physical abuse--much of which is never reported by the family members who live in a state of fear and uncertainty. Such families are often quite relieved when the cop in the family dies or is killed. It is heartening to seem how many of them are happy for the first time once the problem is gone.
