last shadow puppets focus mostly on harmonys, and softer more poppier music, and usually have an ocheastra behind them lol. soo you cant really compare them to oasis.

i don't no too much about the "social revolution" , just little bits ,lol i wouldn't say that Libertines are a scoial revolution their a bit shit tbh and not many people i know like them tbh ... and yea your right about Oasis

i agreed...but i think that oasis's "revolution" was a bit more strong then the smiths impact on society...however i like smiths too...morrisey voice will be always amazing...:-)

so, i think arctic monkeys have the potential to sell more then oasis, but i think that oasis was a cultural and social movement... arctic monkeys aren't it... only one band could was a social/cultural movement like oasis...they called LIBERTINES...however i like a.turner as a frontman and lead guitar...

Oasis are agreat band and bigger the Arctic Monkeys but they have the potential to be better then Oasis Alex Turner has a nicer sounds voice then Noel and liam...

"Live Forever" by itself is probably much better than anything than these guys can put out, and I like the Last Shadow Puppets. Oasis is just a higher caliber. Dig Out Your Soul was probably one of the best albums I've listened to in a long time...

You can't really compare Oasis and these guys because they have two different styles of play. Oasis is more of a slower, more lyrical band who tends to improvise over chords frequently. The Monkeys and the Rascals both use upbeat tempo and frequent with mainly chords. The only real comparison is that they are all Brits and convey that Second British Invasion that everyone labels them as.
