I honestly have never seen the similarity between this and Mario. This rocks the hell out of those crappy Mario games. I got my Sega Power Base Converter not to long ago so I can play all these great SMS games on my Genesis.

i still have a sega with this built in but i keep dieing only my mum can get up 2 the evil castle..( ps when u dai u start all the way at lvl 1 I RLY HATE THAT!!>=O )

I think in the second level, if you defeat the red octopus you can enter into a secret level by going down into the pot where he was sitting.

Why is it that the NES was a thousand times more popular and yet totally blew. The SMS was so much less popular and yet was so much better. It was cheaper, the graphics were alot better, and it had WAY better games.

*Sheds tear* That story really meant something. I wish I could have been around back then to experience that. Now all I do is look at ebay day and night to get all this old games of the Master System. Why just today I got Outrun for the SMS!

I got that SEGA on Christmas eve and my dad played it all night long! When I came down the stairs next morning he was sitting in front of the TV and told me proudly "Son, I almost made it up to level 2!"
