Surely one of the great lost lp's of our time.

One of the few LPs I haven't traded off over time. The local alternative station flogged this album and it was truely NEW (innovative) at the time.

Love seeing this online, been so long, it's only in poor condition on a VHS tape from the 80s where I taped stuff from 120minutes and Up All Night. -- major malfunction thought in the digitizing, the audio track is lagging; note the mushroom cloud sequence, these visuals were beatmatched.

KLB was initially scheduled to back AHC at their first gig (from what I can remember), but his kit didn't make it to London, so I think the small gig was a substitute for it.
I didn't know it until I was already in, but Kishi had put me on the guest list!

Just read this comment after posting above! Sounds like the same gig to me...

Yeah. Saw him live in the eighties, in some London pub, with Keith surrounded by drums and samplers with Adrian Sherwood twiddling the mixing desk just by the bar. Tiny pub, great crowd, AMAZING sounds.

Major Malfuction LP deservedly got highly praised in some music mags. Shame that didn't cause it go a bit bigger. Didn't KleB use drum machine and drums?
