I am also a tenor player and I agree that playing slow with a sax is pretty boring.

i agree, i am a tenor sax player myself and playing slow it's rather boring, given the fact that saxophones are really powerful instruments

that is a really complicated looking tenor sax but the solo was a little boring no offense it was to slow ( i know not all music has to be fast but sax's just don't sound good with a slow solo ) ( from a alto sax player )
