i don't know if there is anything to tell, i would just assume it is personal preference. if i had the money, i would have an ambidextrous kit where i had hi hats on both sides.

this is one of my favorite songs from them, I have been trying to find out how to play it on piano, I already know the guitar part by heart.

Can anyone tell me what the deal is with the tom configuration on the Marshall's kit? I've seen Alan White play on something similar.

I was at a jazz seminar many years ago where John Etheridge taught guitar. Great player & a lovely bloke.

Pretty bizarre still calling themselves Soft Machine without Ratledge, Dean, Hopper, Wyatt or Dobson. Imagine the Beatles still being called that, but consisting of 4 completely different musicians.
