Just one thing I want to say: music? again: music, anyone? Seriously, you spent most of the game running around in silence hearing the hum of onboard fan and computer units. Second: the gears are virtually useless, and boss battles are impossible unless you figure out the "secret" to winning. Third: some REALLY cheesy voice acting coupled with really lame lines seriously hurt the storyline. It's work to play through it. Is it worth it? Maybe, but it's definitely work to get through it.

To be honest, Shion is a pretty one-dimensional character whose growth throughout the series is minimal. As a main character, she fails to draw on your emotions, but succeeds in making you feel that the game is too cutesy or overly dramatic at times. Shion's lackluster performance in battles doesn't help to make her any more special, either. Overall, none of the individual characters seemed all that realistic or interesting, one of the biggest faults of the series; story w/o char. development.

im atheist too.yet religion as fiction for making a video game is great.and religion should stay that was, as fiction!

i like everything in that sentance except for religion. i dont get how you combine religion with the values of an athiest philosipher. the last game is called: Xenogears-god is dead.

I think Xenosaga is a great rpg & the story only gets better as U play through all 3. I kind wish it would have expanded 2 the PS3 but @ sametime I'm happy it end the way it did. I can also understand way the didn't expand 2 the PS3 cause @ the time they would have lost alot of fans 2 the series. Where as now if they would have done it wouldn't be as bad cause more people are starting 2 get PS3's. All in all I really recomend this series 2 people that like sci-fi stuff & 2 people who like rpg's.

I think the Xenosaga trilogy is one of the great's game trilogys ever. My second favorite game trilogy is .hack//gu. I think Xenosaga is one of the best games ever made. Its that underdog type of game. U have 2 actually have patience to like this game cause of the cutscene. I do think the story was kind of weird & creepy with the religious stuff but @ the sametime I don't think it was attacking the christianity beliefs. This is coming from a very devoted christian (me). continued....

This guy is a liar! Shion is NOT likable!
sebasdiabloo (September 2nd, 2008 @ 3:10 am)
of course he does.he appears out of thin air when u first meet him(even KOS-MOS with her sophisticated sensors cant find out how he did that)and he talks not revealing anything about himself and gives moral support to all characters.and in the first game they begin to show the connection between KOS-MOS and chaos.true you are not forced to use him but thats because everyone wants to use him.YAY chaos^^i love his lunar seal.
