WOW!!! The best thing the navy can do is send a couple of those c-130 gunships and support them instead of sending light fighters this is a huge milatary advantage!!!!

The C-130 is not glamorous, but it is an amazing aircraft. This is one design the government really got its money's worth from. I'll bet the "J" model would handle carrier ops even more easily. But I also think the film somewhat downplayed the ability of the pilots. Impressive.

oh i see like i said who voted for war in your country? i understand, you vote for the stink just to not vote for the shit. here´s the same but here the problem it´s the money, we have the higher taxes in the whole wolrd and we just can´t see the improve on the health care or education it´s something like this you pay the taxes to have public hospital but you need to pay private health care as well so we pay twice and that´s the reality of all brazilian public service we dont have one =/

You're correct that the U.S. is not a pure democracy (that would essentially be mob rule). It's a constitutional republic with democratic elections. Another thing to mention is that our government does all kinds of crazy things, but it doesn't mean we like it. Most Americans would like to see the majority of politicians in prison, but when we elect these bums, it's almost always because we are voting against someone worse. That's the crux of America's problems. No I don't speak any Portuguese.

actually, the discussion was if U.S are or not democratic, if you read the other msgs you will see your comrade using the word capitalist. the only thing i said was that i belive that you guys r capitalist but not democratic, i love capitalism i was trying to said that the american government just see the green paper on the actions maybe the reason of such confusion was my bad english i apologize but i don´t really think that you know one word in portuguese =/ so...my bad

I was saying that it's ironic that someone in Brazil, which is also a country of entrepreneurs (who you call "capitalists") and full of wealth, would criticize the U.S. for the same thing. Brazil and the U.S. are similar in that regard, as well as having many people, both poor and rich. You lash out at me, and America, without understanding. THAT my friend is ignorance.
