few years ago, two parents went out for dinner. Natives chew coca leaves, they say it gives them energy, so you could probably get high, plus at coca factories workers chew leaves to work more.

silly silly person. no it does not give you a high. it tastes bad for sure... you have to acquire the taste i guess. and no it wouldn't give you the same effect, because cocaine is a chemical drug...coca leafs have only one of the many elements needed to make cocaine

could someone tell me what chewing coca feels like? It surely must give some sort of "high".And what makes it different from cocaine? could a person just chew 50 coca leaves back to back and get the same effect as cocaine? Can a coca plant grow in the southern u.s.a? I would like to grow one in my herb garden, if you only grew a couple a regular cop wouldnt know what they look like unlike marajuana.
