well sign, unlike its other contemporaries, is more about the protagonist's psychoanalysis then it is about a hack and slash video game that puts children into comas which is why its such an interesting anime

(Side note) When I said,"The show lacks action!" it just means that theres barely ANY fighting in the show, and when there is its like.a five second fight? You'd think scince its an online game, i'd have a balance of fighting and talking but theres more scenes where they're doing nothing and having a short convo then there is of them fighting other players and monsters. Truely, thats the only thing I find wrong with .hack//SIGN. Other than that, the show is perfect. :)
