This video is not to show that marriage can last long between two races but it is to show that many parents can not accept (especially back in the days) the fact that their children are involved in interracial relationship and to show that those children can still make it through anything if they love each other and believe in themself. P.S. I am sure that Mariah based this story on a true story about her parents.

umm im not sure if im right or not but isnt this about her parents because her mother was white and her father was black and back then lots of people didnt believe in these type of relationships so she was tryin 2 say if u love someone u will do anything 4 them i think this song and video is very inspirational and since my mom is white and my dad is black my grandparents didnt want them 2 stay together and it worked cause i never got 2 c my dad ever again so this song really helps me 2 move on

Very emotional and touching video. But the best part is that the people having the wedding is sooo lucky because Mariah is singing there! lol. Still, I love this song.
