I think it's an artefact of the camera lens, not a design of the guitar. His guitars all seem normal in other videos.

is it really necessary to categorize it? I'd argue that no real artist fits neatly into a certain style or genre of music and to try and say that they do is to cheapen the art they create.

if that is what is implied, that is not exactly what i meant.
i simply mean that percussive hits are a small part of slap guitar, and i guess i kinda mis-labeled the style.

Do you imply then, that percussive hits = slap guitar? Because as I said, slap guitar is a style of funk guitar. You can even search it up on YouTube; there's a french guy that does a demonstration on the electric guitar.

well as i said, the style of picking is called "fingerstyle", i ddin't refer to it as slap guitar except for the percussion hits
