great song, great music vid, but i hope everyone understands that this is based on true events and that that did rly happen, its a sad thought, and to think, at the end of it, 4 years later from there aprox, (december 5th 1941 i believe) how much pain had actually occurred, its desvistating to imagine

If you had seen the movie, Affleck went to Britain to become one of their pilots, and was thought to be killed....he later was found just to be missing and picked up, and brought back to the US, where he witnessed and fought at Pearl Harbor. That's the reason why the Germans/British are there.

Indeed i know what you meen by that. I love the movie ONLY cause of the cool war scenes, well ofcourse it was nice to see how romantic Affleck was with beckinsale but, did they realy have to make 2/3 parts of the movie to a romantic one?

Probably because they wanted to show Americans at least getting some revenge during the movie. Tora Tora Tora! is a lot better...made in the 70's but much more realistic...like other 70's war movies (for the most part) I liked the battle parts of Pearl Harbor (the movie). The focusing on Affleck and Harnett's love affair was what made me dislike the movie (not hate), cause I wish they showed more buildup to the attack
