Canned Heat were an original and musically innovative band. The album they did with John Lee Hooker is really worth listening to, even though it doesn't have any Bob Hite on it and very little Al Wilson. Al and Bob were like weird twins and both died way too young of course, Blind Owl of drugs in 1970 and the Bear of a heart attack in 1981. Their music is classic. Thanks for posting this.

Amen to that, Free, Canned Heat, Humble Pie, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, those are bands. I'm 22 and can't stand the music of my generation. It all blows. Digital is the Devil!!!!

they are still around! the drummer is the only original member though. I saw them last night, put on one hell of a show. (btw it doesn't matter how old you are, I am 18. my friends think my taste in music is lame haha)
