maybe in the face of global devastation (starving, atmospherical collapse) these 'people' on mars, made a face pointing toward the sky, knowing a huge structure would last the ages and let us know they were there. but would be believe it as a whole. probably not, nasa need to get some pictures back to us, some BETTEr pictures.

I'm not saying it didn't happen. Don't know. But you are talking about civilizations...who had some (or even if it was just a few) pretty bright guys.....with a ton of time to think about and figure this stuff out....and a ton of people to get jobs done. "Let's get the granite...cut it....roll it on logs...build a dirt ramp...line it up perfectly..."
