The gestures are pushed on too mechanistically,almost
as if the musicians don't trust each other to stay
together if they vocalize the gesture correctly.
Further,the reposes between the gestures are so
truncated as to hardly exist.The marvelous
dynamic contrast in this declamatory style
between consciousness and the abyss is lost.
