I watched the show on t.v for these and the two todos waves took i think 8 hours to reach on the boat and a guy had to jet ski behind it the whole way in 8m swells. They were told not to go because it was life endangering. Ghost tree was the only cali spot they could surf because the fog was so thick that at mavericks they couldnt see the wave at sea. A guy died at ghost tree whilst paddling in that day
