eh. the last concert I went to only cost me $30 even including ticketmaster fees. And I saw three top-tier bands. It isn't always that expensive, and music today isn't a joke...unless, of course, you can't get think outside of Top-40. :-)

i must have very high standards but nothing is as good as this or randy rhoads. thats about all the music i can actually listen to on a regular basis. everything else blows in comparison

I was a fan of Jake when he was with Ozzy, and I always wondered what became of him. Somewhere around 89-90, like many others at the time, I started gravitating away from rock/metal. I only recently discovered he formed Badlands. If they had released this material a few years earlier they probably would've had a huge career. It's a shame that guys with talent and fire like this didn't get more recognition. I'm shocked by the quality of their songs.

You are so right. I was your age during that time. People shit all over the "hair band" years, but a lot of those bands put some good music and some were great musicians. For $20 you could to a concert and see two top flight bands play for 4 hours. The music industry today is a joke.

One of my favorite bands in the late 80's, I have all their albums. It's a shame Ray Gillen is gone, I was looking forward to more from them. Jake E. Lee kicks ass!!!
