CONTINUED from reply to Badtown88 - You cannot establish security on borrowed money. You cannot build character and courage by taking away men's initiative and independence. You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves." -Abe Lincoln's principles

Hilarious, too, is your misunderstanding of US history: You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot help small men by tearing down big men. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot lift the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer. You cannot help the poor man by destroying the rich. You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than your income. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred. To be continued..

Saxby Chambliss and Sarah Palin are the future of the Republican party. Bush and McCain were anomolies that will be undone in the next GOP sweep: 2010. Ron Paul is a good guy, he's just a little too center-libertarian for Republican primary voters who are generally Right Wing Libertarians.McCain only won the primary becuse the Conservative(RWL) vote was split up by what, 5?

That's funny...because I thought Nixon was the one who advanced Affirmative Action and Reagan that signed into law the final bills of the Civil Rights movement. Dorks. Why was the media concerned about 'Hick Democrats' not voting for Obama because he's a 'little dark?' We just dont gripe about race because we know its never been an issue for us. Oh: the 'Southern Republicans' was a trend begun by Falwell's movement to register and involve Christians. Read up, son.

When did I ever say that there were no black republicans??? But to say that Republicans in the last forty years have had a good record on civil rights is to be delusional. By the way, no libertarian should be defending the republican party of today. They do not believe in the constitution, they shunned a true libertarian, Ron Paul, and they are no longer for small government.

Us slaves????? Are you 160 years old??? Yes, it is common knowledge that the republican party USED to be the anti-racist party. However, anyone with any knowledge of politics knows that this all changed once Democrat LBJ signed the civil rights act, and lamented that he was handing the south to the republicans for a genration. Parties change. The Republicans have been on the wrong side of race relations ever since the 1960's Read up.
