i think they should of tested the volvo v70 t5 vs the subaru legacy, the v50 and legacy are not as closely matched as the v70 would of been

Volvo fanboys - the Subaru was more fun to drive and did a better lap time and you're STILL talking shit? Seriously, why can't you be a fan of one type of car without putting down every other kind? That kind of mentality is so elementary school and really makes you look like a dick. I personally respect both brands and would love either a B% Legacy or a V70R or any other hot Volvo.

ive got a volvo s70 t5 and its a fucking monster it would eat a subaru legacey i have smoked a wrx turbo in it and my t5 auto 240 bhp. so eat shit subaru drivers.

The Volvo B5254T3/B5254T4 engine (also known as the T5) actually is detuned by Volvo themselves. It's Motronic ME 7 management system actuates a solonoïd valve on the turbocharger and sparkcuts so the car cannot deliver more than 163 kW (218 bhp). Without these limitations the engine delivers 184 kW, which is about 250 bhp. It's also possible to adjust the behavior of the turbocharger via the solonoïd valve making it deliver 300 bhp.

Its not a detuned t5, and not an over tuned scooby, its a h6 engine, it delivers the same power as a standard wrx. If you were on the market for a sport tourer/estate, thats what Volvo and Subaru offer.
