OK, congas. Didn't know that was Cyril. But they still sound NOT GOOD. What's the point of funk if you've got this loud, nonstop conga stuff? As for the ad hominem attacks, I'm from and live in New Orleans. Funk is in my blood. Maybe Cyril was high; he sucks here.

ok... first of all, they are called "congas" NOT "bongos". Secondly... that is Cyril Neville (you know... one of "The Neville Brothers"?) who was a permanent member of the Meters for a great part of their existence. Thirdly, after viewing your profile, I'd like to tell you that the Meters just aren't for you. Please spare us your inane comments. That is all... thank you.

It is funkaaaaayyyy as all getout!! I don't believe that ANYONE-including Cyril Neville-could have stepped on Ziggy's groove or pocket-it would resound over any percussionist/etc./instumentalist! Hey, shouts out to Leo, George, and Art as well--they brung the funk and slung the funk as well as anyone!!
