Very nice to meet you.I think the "E Bros." may have copied them back then.I heard many stories from their mother Kathleen. She did push them pretty hard in the biz. That's my dad on that guitar.Worth it's wait in gold today if it was still around. My dad and uncle did happen to marry the Graham twins.Sadly my dad and my uncle are both deceased. They were never really happy not being performers anymore.Take care and thanks for the message.

This makes me wonder if this is the same Donny Gilliland who used to hitch a ride to the Shindig with my friends parents back in the early 50's. He lived not too far from me in Oak Cliff. He was an interesting guy.

Hey, Scotty... I was friends with your dad and uncle back in the early 50's until I moved out to California in '54. The first time I heard the Everly Bros. I thought it was them. Isn't that Bobby playing the guitar? LOL, because of them I get to brag about meeting Elvis, Johnny Cash and many more. I heard at one point that Bobby&Benny had married the Graham twins, daughters of Pauline, true or not? Gawd, I hope you check this site, again!

The house band in the movie was "Rusty Brown and the Cell Block 7". 'Rusty' was the drummer and years later owned a chain of music stores in Fort Worth, some of which I managed for a few years.

Too bad Kay Wheeler and Wanda Jackson never appeared together. Maybe when I get my time machine working...
