seen them in 80 with dianno, 81 and 83 opening for priest, powerslave and give me ED till im dead tours and dance of death tour, iv'e been there from the beginning and they are one of the best bands ever and steve is a god on the bass, all i meant is sometimes when the guitars are doing up and down fast picking , due to the low action set up on his bass and because he's a finger player it's not spot on sometimes, SOMETIMES I SAID, but in the same breath this adds character and makes them great

you've obviously never seen them live. He has one of the cleanest sounds of a pick or finger player that I've ever heard

Nicko Mcbrain is awesome in this track! Clive burr was their first drummer and he kicked royal ass as well on this song!!

The band i was in the 80s covered ALOT of Maiden. I have also been to a Drum Clinic with Nicko..TOOO Coool Of a Guy.
