I didn't think the Live Earth concert was a very effective way of addressing global pollution problems (what with leaving a huge carbon footprint and so forth), but I do give it mad love for showing off this holotech. I don't know about you, but I would totally vote for a man named Mister Allgore. But only if Lumi and her delightful Engrish ran for VP.

Jihadjared's right. Global warming is about 90% politics, 9% overexaggeration, 1% reality. It's simply a global climate change trend that has been common throughout the life of this planet.

It's not just the Earth that is warming, but every planet in the solar system. people are to blame for pollution but not for the warming.

You can't say they just used renewable energy. It doesn't work that way. They used the energy available, which is produced in many different ways.

i agree but I'm wondering if it was carbon neutral, they could have used generated electricity via solar, wind.

The problem is that Al Gore comes off as a bit egoistical, his holier than thou attitude is understandable since he was robbed of the electoral win but it's a bit annoying.

Al Gore is saving us from that dirty oil and coal. He is our mesiah (he wishes he was) and i'd pay 1000.00's to eat next to him just like those people that pay $5000.00 a plate to sit next to him at his after-presentation-dinners--but im not worthy--NOT truth is he's got a neurosis that was first seen by the world in the 2000 Florida recount and is now in our faces every single day-the man needs serious counseling.

you speak like you know the real global warming.. watch an inconvenient truth by al gore.. you'd see how big global warming really is.. 90% political? gore continued to fight global warming even after losing the fight for presidency.. i don't really think that the state of our planet is that bad but give some damn respect for those who have struggled hard to save us and our children in the next generation..

Global warming is the least of our problems. Pollution of our environment is more important. We are drinking water tainted with hundreds of chemicals. global warming? the sun is doing it mainly. global warming is 90% political. the earth always heats up and cools over the centuries and it always will. if you want to fight global warming, blow up the sun. but then you'll die. take notice of this: we are entering a cooling period on earth. what do you think will happen if we make it cooler?

I did'nt take any of the "Blue Beam" stuff seriously until i saw this. Gore wants to make an underwater sacrifice.
