This is not a watch, is a piece of Art!. It looks and moves like a heart.

watching these machines, i get the idea of how amazing engineering is. A dedecation to mathematical precission in combination with design and arts.isnt this true creating? Wether the artist nor the worker has his mind in those two realms, only the engineer has.

that much dough can also buy a ferrari f430 so i mean you can either look really rich or go really fast and look really rich.

tourbillon is only usefull in pocket watches. aside off the good looks, I have never seen the utility of it in a wrist watch.

I understand what you say about PCB in watches and agree with you. Seiko's "spring drive" watch is the worlds only mechanical watch with quartz timekeeping accuracy. So, you have the best of both worlds.

I don't want printed circuitry in my mechanical watch. Mechanical watches are about using mechanics to count out time. If I wanted accuracy I would just use my cell phone. There is no romance in the Seiko movement and it's no where near as sophisticated as other means of time keeping. It's a dull middle child.

Ok, so I misspelled a few words.

In reality, the technololy behind this watch is over a hundred years old. The tourbillon was inveted about 200 years ago. The only difference with this one is that its a "gyro", turns all over with no real purpose. One it was first invented tourbillon countered the effects of gravity. Today this could be acheived with out such intellectual overkill. In fact, Seiko makes a mechanical watch with no escapment! Now thats an advance watch.
