Loreena won her first Juno award in 1992. This appears to be from that live telecast. I believe that is Ofra Harnoy on the cello.

This has to be one of my favourite songs of hers, after Stolen Child. But the abridged version is so odd to hear. It's almost like missing a step. She has such feeling in her voice, and an incredibly deft hand for composition. A master of evocation. I adore her work, it's always so powerful. Gosh, she looks young! And it's one of those hair/makeup phases.... Does anyone know when this was filmed?

How can music be so sweet and good?? She is so awesome. I saw her in concert this year and it was like a dream to me. I could cry because her music is touching my soul. Thank you for the music. The new CD "A midwinter nights dream" is also very very good. Go and buy it.
