I love listening to washed up hippie douchebags berate the likes of Scalia. He would own your fucking ass.

He doesn't believe in a strict interpretation any more or less than any other justice, now, or in the past. All he does is cherry pick the parts he likes in order to justify his political ideas. If they like something that government is doing they'll holler "State's Rights!" But if they don't like something the government is doing they'll scream that individual rights are being violated. Liberal or conservative, they both do it the same way. Sorry. It's they way the world wags.

that was funny

The Court's decision will never have the impacts that Scalia claims. Freedom and security can be reconciled within the framework of the rule of law and constitution. We have many bad people in jail, all of whom had lawyers and access to writs of habeas corpus. Scalia and others are just "cut and running" on basic civil rights!

I really love the way people characterize right wing supporters as NAZIs. Do you even know what fascism is and what it stands for? I find it hilarious how you could consider Scalia, who believes in a "strict interpretation" of the constitution, to be a fascist. No offense, but you are embarrassing yourself. Read up; have an informed opinion.

Reagan wasn't a Libertarian, although he did sound like one on occasion. Just because a lot of jerks are right-wing doesn't mean that right-wing is full of jerks. Trust me, there are plenty of "left-wing" jerks as well. Leave it to MSN to label things so complex as something so simple to the point that the original meanings are lost.

I am not sure if you were born yet BUT Pres Reagan=biggest tax increase EVER TO THAT TIME Pres Bush 1=biggest tax increase ever to that time/Pres Clinton left office with balanced budget/Pres Bush 2 biggest increase in size of govt EVER deepest dept EVER ...Self-reliance hmmm...Reagan thought that when he emptied the mental heath facilities of patients (to be without meds) and used the money to bury the USSR

Scalia hates what America is all about - he has proven that time and time again.

You do know that Libertarianism is considered Right-Wing? (RP 4tw) In politics, right-wing is often defined as politics that seeks to uphold or return to traditional authorities and/or the liberties of a civil society and the preservation of the domestic culture. In general, the right also advocates the preservation of personal wealth and private ownership and emphasizes more self-reliance. So, again, what does right wing have to do with anything? sheeple.
