Melissa has an awsome voice. No reason that she cannot have a successful career in Nashville. My personal pick to win this show is Gabe but if Melissa wins I won't be disappointed. They will both do well after the show, as will a couple others who have already been voted off.

Music is basically math put into sound. A song therefore is a combination of math and wlyrics. Lyrics can be in story form or poetic form. Since there are infinite mathmatical combinations and infinite word combinations it follows that there are an infinite number of songs out there. That said, artists are greatly influenced by other artists and sometimes songs may sound similar but still have a unique sound. Personally I think Gabe has a similar style to George Strait but more modern.

She deserves it hands down -- As a side note: Most song writers co-write. They said did she fully write this song not did you write it.

A rip off?How many different ways are there to write a song?A good country song speaks to peoples hearts,people can relate to it and that is what both Melissa and Gabes songs did .Chesney and McGraw don't own a style of country music and these 2 songs by Gabe and Melissa are country.Everyone has a style of music they like and that does not make them plagurists ,just great artists.Melissa and Gabe are definatley going to be major country stars because they are country.
