I was first introduced to hiroshima back in 1993, they did a benefit concert in montebello,ca. not too far from east los angeles where they are from. This song is my all time favorite of theirs.

Indeed. If I remember correctly June Kuramoto has been recognized in the American music industry as being the foremost authority on the koto for all of the United States. In concert she truly leaves you in awe...

This was one of my favorite songs when I first heard it back in the early 90's. Ever since then I bought a lot more of their music and met a couple of people that actually had their own collection of hiroshima cd's.

First time I June was when Hiroshima open for Spyro Gyra. I had never heard of them before. I was totally blow away. I have seen many musician from jazz, blues and rock over the last 40 years, very few can compare with the talent of June Kuramoto

I was turned onto Hiroshima with their "Go" CD and became an instant fan. It never occurred to me that this was new age- I saw it as contemp. jazz w/ Japanese instruments. I saw them tour w/ Bobby Caldwell on his "Stuck on You" tour, and Kuramato was so endearing. What a touching story this song is about. Very hypnotizing. I recommend the "East" CD this song came from. I'd love to see them again.
