This is the "Cantabile mit einem angenehmen Orgelregister" by Justinus
Heinrich Knecht (1752-1817), as published in J.H. Knecht: Ausgewählte
Orgelwerke, Universal Edition UE 17469, page 10-13

I AWARD THIS 3 GRYPHONS....As while the performance is adequate without particualr negative or positive distinction...the organ itself has such a fully conflictive human dimensional panarama, that just the opening phrases of this video provide a chilling funereality because of the brilliant achievements of the organmaker.

Does anyone know the title of the piece played at the beginning of this video?

I've always been fascinated by this fantasmagorical (sp?) instrument. Mice to hear its voice...

At the second manual, the trumpet 8` was the good choice.Very nice organ!

Yes, you can tell the reason for the two-manual stretch if you listen to what he's playing! I think he's a pretty good organist to do it that way. Very nice effect. Very nice organ too!

Nice to see Isoir also play an organ continuo part... Bach himself did not transcribe it like this...

La Force only works on bottom C, though.

Well, he plays one of the Bach's preludes on "Wachet auf"...
