"s that an insult to me or towards those who discriminate biracial people like Hines Ward?" I don't know do you discriminate then what i said is not about you but if you do then for all of the negativity that you display I display positivity meaning biracial kids still excel with or without the haters.

Is that an insult to me or towards those who discriminate biracial people like Hines Ward? If you were trying to criticize me reread all my post on this video I think I have made it clear in my writings that my criticism is geared towards Americans who abandoned these biracial people in Korea.

"There are biracial Koreans who even go to good Korean universities (mainly because they are able to speak fluent English)." And then there are biracials like Hines Ward, Kimora Lee Simmons, Amerie and quite a few others that go on to be quite successful and rich by the way. I mean damn just think the biracial child you dog goes on to be a millionaire and famous and your hateful ass is still at the bottom , funny isn't it.

From Korean people's perspective interracial relationship between Korean women and Foreign men are seen as something that is doomed for failure. These women were probably told time and time again not to get involved with foreign men so when women get divorced or abandoned by foreign men they are looked on as a failure or a cautionary tale. Divorces between Koreans are still looked down on but they don't carry the same stigma. I think even America has this perspective but it is not as strong.

You make it sound as if biracial children born and raised in more accepting areas such as Europe and America don't struggle with identity and acceptance. It's not right but those are issues that biracial people have to deal with whether they live in Korea, Europe, or America.

Sure they sometimes have to deal stares and discrimination but they seem to overcome these problems because they have strong and dependable male figures who have built families that can provide love and support. If American fathers are decent and responsible people who accept paternity biracial children can also attend schools designed for them within the US army base in Korea.

There are interracial relationships and marriages in Korea that do work. But they are so few and far between that you have extremely hard time finding them. The few biracial Koreans that I met while studying in Yonsei University whose American fathers were still involved in their lives seemed to have happy and productive lives. There are biracial Koreans who even go to good Korean universities (mainly because they are able to speak fluent English).

Obviously this is the reaction I got from just one encounter with members of this organization but I highly doubt that other biracial people in Korea would feel any different. If you or anyone else can find different responses from biracial Koreans I would be interested in knowing what they had to say.

That was the reaction when I went to one of those organizations for biracial Koreans run by a guy named Bae Gi Chul. Most but not all biracial Koreans I met in that gathering were abandoned by their American fathers and they had extremely negative things to say about them and America. Most of them did express bitterness towards Korean society's discrimination towards biracial people but they had even more hatred for their American fathers and US government's do nothing attitude regarding them.

"If you ask biracial Koreans who they hate more Korean society or the fathers who abandoned them most of them would say their American fath" Says who?and do you have facts based on this or are you just guessing.
tanio12 (December 2nd, 2008 @ 11:16 pm)
"I think a healthy sense of pride and shame is absolutely necessary in order to maintain a healthy society" Okay but what if you have more pride than shame.
tanio12 (December 2nd, 2008 @ 11:15 pm)
"This is probably the biggest reason why so many people in Korea have negative attitudes towards Korean women having interracial relationships with foreign men." Well what about just regular marriages that end up in divorce and the disdain Koreans have for divorced wives of these marriages so negativity runs the gamut regardless of whether the marriage is interracial or not correct?
