I love how the rams were double covering a rookie TE. Just think of what he will do when defenses start focusing on K Rob, Branch and Engram. He'll be a probowler his rookie season if he keeps it up.

wow, John Carlson has me pumped to see the Hawks play. I still think he could of done gotten round pick if the 2007-2008 year wasnt bad. But hey, at least he got picked up and is ready for alot more action. Hes smart, charming, athletic, and smoken hott. GO SEAHAWKS...

He would have been a first round pick if Brady Quinn did not leave. Carlson's production dropped without a decent QB. He may not be as fast as Stevens but he can block better and has better hands. Holmgren called NFL ready and Holmgren knows his stuff. This kid is also VERY smart, he got a 43 on his wonderlic. If any rookie TE can learn the WCO its him.

cant wait to see john carlson in action. i was hoping they'd pick him up in the first round but wasn't expecting to get a great deal in the second with him still there. tim ruskells team are great at scouting talent and a lot of the people they draft usually end up doing great with us or with other teams and if my gut feeling serves me right...john carlson is going to be the tight end that we've always been wanting. GO SEAHAWKS!!!
