I hate people like you who give stupid advice like "drink some tea" or "read a book before sleeping". First off, those "2-cent remedies" don't do shit for people with bad insomnia. On the contrary, it does work for normal people with no insomnia, who have trouble getting to sleep once-in-a-while. People who decide to do regular activites with these pills are stupid, that's why there are instructions.

Ambien's amazing when you first start it, it makes you feel euphoric. But I just don't get that happy feeling from it anymore. I still get the memory loss and double vision, but not the euphoria. It really sucks. I miss that feeling so badly :-( But that's what happens when you're too used to it... *sigh*

no, Ambien CR comes in 6.25 mg and 12.5 mg, Regular ambien comes in 5 and 10 mg.

Easy to say when you don't suffer from insomnia. Try lying in bed until five in the morning for three or four days and living on two hours of sleep. Then you crash, and the cycle begins all over again.

does anyone else get a metalic taste when you take too many? when i was at university, i got some off my doctor. 1 at night i hardly felt it, 2 at night still hardly felt it, but 4 and big glass of whiskey each night and I was turning up for exams on the wrong days and shit, fucked!

One night I could not sleep. I had to be at work at 7AM and had an even more pressing engagement after work around 6PM. I decided at 4AM to take the ambien and miss work - but I would be rested for my 6PM. Around 5AM I felt a euphoria and next thing I knew I was at work by 7AM. The disturbing part is I made out with a co-worker who I have known for years and we had sexual tension between us but never "went there". Made it to my 6PM and slept well that night. made me social superman. Strange drug
