You sir, are just plain wrong.

seems like 'reviews' are now just advertisements.

It was HIM who got fired. He was my favorite reviewer. I can't believe this is what the gaming industry has come to.

agree on that. esp the night club scene, when i played it i thought its awesome game but then its jus a complete let down, really ruined the game and the mood to play it.

Sad that people get fired for the truth=/

He got fired from Gamespot for this reviewv. Because Gamespot lost a lot of money from the sponsor who produced Kane and Lynch. Gamespot sucks.

I love all these scrubs crying about how hard the aiming was. "IT WAS HARD THE GAME WAS TOO HARD BOO HOO" No wonder none of the game footage was from when the game actually got hard and enjoyable (Prison seige onward). It's a great two player shooter with a kinda lame storyline and newb-unfriendly controls. 7/10.

The firing of Jeff Gerstmann was the biggest mistake Gamespot ever made...

This was actually the one guy I liked from gamespot, mostly because he gave the most honest and fair reviews. But then he gets fired because the damn company started advertising the game around the same time the review was released. In my opinion, this is one of the most bullshit things to come from gaming in a long time, and this is exactly the kind of thing that is keeping gaming from being recognized as a major player in the entertainment industry.
