who said it didn't exist?
i thought the question was
"does our perception of time change in a fight or flight situation?"

how does this prove time doesn't exist? that's just retarded, time obviously exists because it's measurable. there's 24 hours in a day, 7 days in a week, you take 14 years of your life before going through puberty, i can run a mile in 6 minutes. what it proves is that time is not a line, time can be warped by senses and in other experiments it can be warped by other things

scientist? numpty...why the white coat? he so clever, but says times is perceived as slowing down but its speeding up in relation to the order of the world around the subject. Whats interesting is this action of increased activity in a specific part of the brain goes part the way to defining the self and everything else body, senses etc are add ons.

This experiment was on a BBC Four documentery called Time but they only used the numbers on a flashing display which was set so that it flashed too fast for the person to read but as they fell time for them slowed down and they could read the numbers. Only problem was that they only got close confusing similar numbers and whatching it you could guess the number as it didnt really flash fast enough. There was also a article on this sort of thing in the New Scientist

Dr. Eagleman is my biopsychology professor at Rice University, and he is simply the most awesome professor ever! I'm gonna ask him sometime after class if I can do one of his experiments similar to this one!
