I have an idea: at 4:10 you should put something there to stop it from sliding out from the bottom. theres nothing there and if your a fidgety sleeper like me i would push them off and wake up and be like fuck this and go to a overpriced hotel

van man here you even explain it i had to see this sooner lol Really nice made, esp the bunkbed construction quite clever man i know from the previous video it had a toilet but no shower, as i love to do it yourself this was fantastic to see Rick

hi. glad you like. DVLA- no probs- just send off the doc and tell em you want it to state "motorhome" - took 2 weeks to come back. Insurance - only 2 companies in the country that will touch self-builds without an engineers report: shield direct, and adrian flux. both are reasonable £ but require some simple, but specific criteria to be met in order to insure you: drop me a private message if you need more info. Also, be sure to see my other 2 (newer) van conversion vids on this channel.

Looks good. I like that you have a shower and bog in this conversion. Now I'm really tempted rather than just thinking about it. Any issues with Insurance/DVLA regarding change of use? Did Insurance need to see certificated for gas and electrical etc? Not asking to try and be a smartarse, it's the bit that really makes me nervous abour doing my own build.. I really like this build.......

You are obviously someone who has a go so I don't want to knock it but your choice of fabric and the interior of the shower really date the look..
