the dempsey seen in the first part of this footage takes marciano out. that dempsey betters marciano in ever key component, w/ the exception (maybe)of stamina. keep in mind also marciano had been knocked down, most notably vrs moore. so i dont see his chin w/standing dempsey hooks. more importantly though, dempsey had more hand & foot speed. early in his career in had a real knack of getting up close & punishing but also being able to slide punches. I see a 8th rd ko.

I'd say Dempsey and Marciano. Now that would be one hell of a fight. Dempsey, with his unrivaled tenacity and power. Marciano, with his endless well of stamina and a chin (and perhaps body) of steel. Both possessing the heart of true champions that no other fighter today could even dream of having.

Dempsey is a Titan, his style was studied by Mike Tyson, and we all know what IRON Mike did to people, man, i dont think there will ever be anyone to match those 2 KILLERS in the ring

secondly, if anyone had a motivation to want to turn the tide in favor of black fighters getting more respect & justice in matchmaking, would it not be jack johnson? yet again, johnson, himself did nothing to throw bones out to the great black fighters of his era. even at the very least he couldve fought a green harry wills & avoided the prime langford. yet in the end they were all iced. was this johnson being callous or like dempsey was he bound to the politics & dictates of handlers/promoters.
