Alot is easy to play, but it was THE GREATEST at the time. How many bands from that era do you recall guitar licks or drum solos. NOBODY better on the guitar, and, just a great band.

ok, so i love how everyone is saying how the guitar part is so 'easy' in the beginning of this song. i would LOVE to see any of you play the double bass solo that Sir Alex Van Halen plays at the beginning. good luck with that.

Beatles<Van Halen Ringo sucks, Lennon sucks, McCartney sucks. The only excellent thing they had was production. George Martin is the man, and without him the Beatles would be a mere footnote in history. Remember that. Now the guys in Van Halen can actually play.

I think that pineapples are better than Van Halen. Sorry, just jumping on the band wagon of comparing two things that aren't even similar, like a lot of other daft user comments. Awesome performance - so much energy! 5 stars.

I'm guessing there was a slight disagreement between the bands back in the 80s, which they're probably now old and smart enough to NOT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT! They're completely different bands... they both rule, stop comparing... it's a worthless debate, enjoy the music. This is not Van Halen's best performance to be honest!!
