Asians and Natives are scapegoats. It's the commercial crabbers who pay about $250 a year, can put out 100 pots and take as much as they want in a day - WDFW estimates 1000 pounds a day. Meanwhile, I can put out 2 pots and I can only take 5 crabs a day.

Crabbing here in WA has changed. 10 years ago you could get 10 crab in one hour and now you are lucky to get your limit on the piers due to over harvesting, poaching, and the increased popularity of the sport is making dungness crabbing a tuff sport. Indians and Asians who got off the boat are notorious for over harvesting and poaching.

I love crabbing at San Francisco pier, it's fun crabbing with the family once in a while :)

ive been to puget sound in olympia,washington the only crab i saw where tiny tiny lil babys next to the docks
