Deidre started other places, but she was an original cast member on the Young and the Restless. She left when her storyline was getting reduced. She turned down the Marlena Evans in May of 1976, accepted ElectraWoman, and then was reoffered Marlena Evans a few days later. So, I am sure about the Wesley Eure story as accurate. In interviews, she has never confessed to disliking this role. As she has been asked about this a lot. But the rumor of this is out there.

actually Deidre was filming Days of our lives at the same time(she was talked into it by "at the time" fellow cast member Wesley Eure who has just come off doing "Land of the Lost" while he was acting on the soap) Ms Hall has been on recoed as always regretting this move, she MAY have but I and other boys at the time LOVED seeing her in tights on Saturday mornings
