You ever see the movie Shogun assassin based on the Lone wolf and cub series? Well the actor who played Lone Wolf happens to be Zatoichi's real life brother! they played as brothers in one of the earlier films. Those two and Toshiro were tigers man. They need actors of that caliber back!

Zatoichi movies and Tv series were extremely popular in the 1960s and early 1970s.But that actor in real life is quite the opposite from the movie.

What's so funny about this movie is that there are NO sword fights whatsoever. Zatoichi kills everyone almost instantly. I think only two swords every connect in the entire movie.

Have you seen the Pilgrimage? It's hard to find in North America and I was trying to find a copy of any kind on dvd.
