I found the beta by accident on a torrent site I regular. Gave it a play and hit a snag with the new cutscene (new to me) where the red.. whatever their name is gang storms the Ebon Hawk and Kriea knocks out Disciple. Game keeps freezing there. Wonder if it is one of the 'bugs' their working on. Other than that, its been great so far. Shame they've made everyone wait so long with only teases to show for it.

i have the beta and its great not met any bugs so far really apart from the sound cuts out on videos occasionally, but theres loads of new stuff in it, i mainly just wanna play the droid factory and thats in it so im happy.

After what is it now? 3+ years of waiting I am not suprised that this happened. I am looking forward to when the mod is finished (I still check out TG's site from time to time) but I am not holding my breath.

Just to keep with the bug-count (which, as TG says, is *not* a countdown to release... but imho it resembles it in a close way :p), today it's at 3 to go (one major, one tweak and one trivial). May the Force be with Team Gizka!

Nope, they're doing it for free. Not to mention, if they were asking for donations, LucasArts would shut them down in a microsecond.

I don't think Team Gizka is getting paid for this. (are they?) Anyway, quit bitching people. They are working on a game we all love. They're trying here, they could have not done anything.

Exactly. Not to mention there has been a lot of progress on the project ever since that beta got leaked, right now the bug count is down to 8.

Why would anyone want to play the beta anyway? It's full of bugs, and if we've waited three years, surely it's worth waiting a while longer now until the official public release occurs...
