A lost classic. Sammy belonged with Montrose for sure, what a voice. I loved this album the first time I heard it, its got a real 'good-time' vibe about it.

Steve Rothery (Marillion) and Gary Moore come to mind as great players whose notariety doesn't come close to matching their talent. And there was a GREAT jazz rock player named Marlon McLain who played with the early lineup of The Jeff Lorber Fusion back in the early '80s. Amazing player. I'd put Peter White and Anthony Phillips on the list too.

Man, there's this big crack that great guitarists sometimes fall into, where radio ignores them and the buying public just don't know about them...Ronnie is there, along with Pat Travers...list your lost g-tarists...

Montrose fuckin ruled, never saw them but saw Sammy a couple times in the 70's....the Red Rocker ruled.........

My cover band played this at my high school's battle of the bands...and people loved it!!! There IS a demand for good ol' rock n roll!
