yes, totally agree. Thats why he's so good as an interviewer, especially when he interviews really bigoted people...he doesn't try to make them look moronic, he just lets them do that themselves

for american viewers, Theroux usually tries to act dumb to give the interviewee a false sense of superiority and tries to let them walk into their own mistakes with misleading questioning.
