Wow... I always loved Brian's Compositions. I didn't even know this video existed, the piano rehersal for Surf's Up from way back in 1966. Does it really matter how long it took Brian to finish his Album, Smile? I don't think so. What matters is that he finished it, and it's PERFECT. As the group Chicago said in one of their hits, "The Good Things in Life, Take Along Time... Hell Yes!"

This breaks my heart for two reasons. 1. It's one of the most brilliant songs he's ever done and 2. he can't recapture the time before his his personal downward spiral. God love Brian Wilson. I know I will " Until I die".

Hey, "prey7", I cannot but agree with you 100% man. This footage is RARE, and PRECIOUS ! It captures Brian at the absolute peak of his powers and talent - the Mt Everest point in his career. What a privelege it is to watch this footage and to listen to Brian here !!
