Beautifull car! nice burnout thought But i like the imports best. Like skyline, supra and 200SX. Look at this vid /watch?v=lB2qsj4Tzm0 I call that a real burnout insane!

Still though, That's an engine that doesn't even do 100 revs a minute. Marine engines are usually quite strange. Sometimes they exist of just a bunch of engine's put together I'm told. Seeing as the original post was someone asking if the car was 6,7, or 8 cylinders, Its pretty definitive in the consumer world, That sort of configuration doesn't exist for any sort of practical use

I found a 7 cylendar torpedo too.

Flat 2's are quite common for motorcycles and other small engines, I was just saying although its a flat engine, and other flat configs are perfectly balanced, a flat 2 setup will rock slightly from the motion of the two cylinders, This just happens. As for your 7 cylinder claim, I did google, Only to find that this is only found on a radial engine. Seeing as a failed to mentiion that before, their usually only used on prop aircraft. Only about 3-4 companies still produce radial engines.

A quick Google of 7 cylendar engines says that 7's are rare but do exist. Didn't BMW motorcycles come with flat 2's? Pretty sure they did.

7 cylinders don't exist. Straight engines only come in 2,3,4,5,6,8,9,10,12,14, and 24. For all applications. You cant balance a 7 cylinder engine. V engines are only 2,4,5,6,8,10,12,16, 20 and 24. The 5 cylinder has been around for awhile, Currently Chevy uses one in there small truck the Colorado, Claiming the power of a sixer, with better fuel economy. However, 5's are hard to balance, Only perfectly balanced engines are flat's (not flat 2's) Inline 6's, V12's, and Wankel engines.

Andy, you are right. Volvo SUV first came out with a straight 5. That's why i mentioned Sweden. Volvo probably makes a 7 as well, I'm guessing.
