I would reccommend the GL2 only because for the price of the 100B you can get the HD version of the GL2.

y dident you talk about the canon xl1 and gl2 i have the xl1 and i love it and now you can get it on ebay as cheap as $1500 with extras

I've got the Panasonic NV-GS230 it's way better than the Panasonic PV-GS320, and it HAS an mic input and headphone input

any current mac! since ur pc crashed check out the mac mini... its about 500 bucks and comes with i movie... you can get Final cut pro for about 180 (the basic edition) you can use your old pc screen (the adapter comes with the mini... and if ur keyboard and mouse is usb u can use them too) i have a gl-2 and macbook pro with final cut pro!

you can't edit hd in windows movie maker. You're gonna have to figure out how to compress the hd into SD. GET A MAC!!!!

Effin right I love working with the Panasonic DVX 100B!! I want to try the Panasonic HVX200 and the Sony PMW-EX1 HD XD Cam (this camera shoots true HD). I've seen both in action but cant find a quality review. I got to college but got hooked on you guys for the good make-up design stuff and now the great 4 minute film school material. Would you be able to do a review on those 2 cameras that I have mentioned?
