Long hair is supposed to symbolize strength. Prime example in mythology is Sampson of Sampsom and Delilah. Sampson got strength from his long hair and when it was cut he lost his strength. Others think of long hair as pride since the male of the lions have long hair or a mane. He heads what is called a pride. So you can determine what long hair represents to a man.

Long (good looking) hair is one of the biggest turn-ons on a woman. Don´t really know about guys though, some haircuts are awesome, some are not.

No hair cutting ever. He's too cute for that. Hair has many different connotations in many different cultures. The most common is that hair is sacred - as much evil can be done with another persons hair.

Young people wearing hair longer than the older folks goes back a few thousand years. It sends a message that they are individuals with a brain of their own. Long hairs were never robots. (Notice Einstien, Beetoven, and many other thinkers had wild long hair?)
