The Old Burlington General Store at Froelich, Iowa
BackBurlington General Store, a museum where you can actually touch stuff. Pretty much unchanged for a hundred years, the general store at Froelich, Iowa is truly a step back in time. While it is actually a museum, there are some things for sale. But most of what you see lying around are the artifacts, which you are able to pick up and look at. Not the best in terms of museum preservation, but a treasure for the visitor. Froelich is the town where the very first gasoline tractor was invented. This video was taken at their annual "Fall-de-ral" Days at the end of September. The elderly woman in the wheelchair at the beginning is selling raffle tickets to a print of an old John Deere tractor. For more information go to http://www.froelichtractor.com/
