I did a little ride with Gil Penalosa on Portland's Eastbank Esplanade. Penalosa is a world-reknowned expert on creating livable cities and is the executive director of a canada-based non-profit, Walk and Bike For Life. In this video, he shares his thoughts on the Esplanade and on how bikes and pedestrians should interact.
